— Philippines: Cagayan – Heartbeat International Missions

Fredelito Farinas is serving the Lord in one of the northernmost provinces of the Island of Luzon in the Philippines. He was saved in June, 1984, and surrendered his life to full-time Christian service at the same time. He and his wife Teresita have four children and one grandchild.

Pastor Fred and his wife founded New Hope Baptist Church in the Province of Cagayan, which was organized in 2018 and is now pastored by their son Jabez. Pastor Fred hopes to soon start a new mission work in a nearby town. His vision for the future is:

To establish five local churches by 2029.
To begin a new work later this year.
To help build a new church building for their visiting ministry, New Hope Baptist Church, where his son Jabez is now the pastor.
To develop a camp site on a three acre plot of land.
To build a worship chapel at their tribal mission area.
To motivate the young people to dedicate their lives to the ministry and consider training for full time service as the Lord leads them.
