Philippines: Bataan

Ramil Ofrecio serves as the National Coordinator of Heartbeat International Missions in the Philippines. He is also Pastor of Cornerstone Fundamental Baptist Church in Limay, Bataan, and is Director of Heartbeat Baptist Bible College. He has been greatly used of God to start many missions outreaches and has been a great encouragement to other Filipino Pastors. He and his wife Melanie have four children who are also active in the ministry with them.

Pastor Ramil and his church have been greatly used to establish mission works in many areas of the Province of Bataan: Mariveles, Paliparan, Limay (their main church), Balanga City, and Dinalupihan. Aside from these mission works, they also have many mission outreaches every week, many of which will eventually become mission churches. They are currently beginning construction in Balanga City and Paliparan. Pastor Ramil also serves as President of Heartbeat Baptist Bible College, currently housed in their main church in Limay. The Lord has recently opened the door for them to purchase a former Catholic School facility near their Limay church. The buildings will need some renovations, but they consist of over 11,000 sq ft (1050 square meters) of space which can serve as Sunday School space, Bible College classrooms and dormitories, and possibly an orphanage and Christian School in the future.

Alexander Ramirez, his wife Janice, and their two children are serving in Abucay, Bataan, where he has been used of the Lord to establish Beulah Land Baptist Church. He now has five Mission churches, four of which have their own land and building; some are still under construction as the Lord provides the needed funds. In 2016, Pastor Alex was finally able to negotiate a contract to purchase a building lot for his main church in Abucay. The property is now paid in full as of March, 2016, but they need $1,100 to complete the registration and title work. He and his congregation hope to begin construction as soon as the Lord provides.

Amor was fortunate to be born and raised in a Christian family, he got saved at 14 yrs. old during youth camp. He realized while listening to the preaching that salvation is not about church involvement, but a personal relationship with God. At graduation, he felt God calling him to full time service and he is now pastor of a growing ministry in Pilar, a suburb of Balanga City, Bataan, in the Philippines. He and his wife Gina have faced many health issues within their family, but continue to faithfully serve the Lord. They have their own church building, and were able to purchase adjoining land a couple years ago for $25,000, where they are progressively building a Sunday School Building and parsonage. The work is ongoing but Pastor Amor has chosen to involve the local congregation and their resources to bring this project to completion. They have built a parsonage at the church building that is now fully functional. Please pray for them to be able to complete construction of the dorms for their Bible Students in Nagwaling, and to acquire a church vehicle. Their latest project is Camp Joy. Pastor Amor continues to pray for the project which will be used to reach many young people and also many called into full-time service for the Lord.

Arsenio Manzano and his family are serving the Lord in Samal, Bataan, in the Philippines. During the course of his ministry, Pastor Arsie has planted three churches. He is currently pastor of Christ Alone Baptist Church. He and his congregation hope to build their own church building. They have raised over $5,000 toward their total need of $79,000. Please pray for this pastor and his wife, Josie as they continue their labor for the Lord.

Brilliant Ofrecio is a missionary to Balanga City in the Province of Bataan. His primary goal in missions is to establish churches in each of the 27 villages in Balanga City. He was sent out by Cornerstone Fundamental Baptist Church in Limay, Bataan under Rev. Ramil Ofrecio. Brilliant is now in the United States trying to raise support and funds for his church building in Balanga City.

Pastor Jovito Pastoral has faithfully served as pastor of Bible Baptist Church in Orani for many years. He and his family have struggled with hardships, health and financial needs, but have remained faithful. We recently received $400 to help them purchase a new sidecar for their motorbike. They typically bring 6 to 7 people to church each trip, and often make several trips each Sunday so people can hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Pastor Roberto Mendoza established Bethel Baptist Church in Hermosa in the Province of Bataan, Philippines. He and his wife Rose and their three children are being used of the Lord to see many souls come to Christ. He has also established a mission work in Floridablanca which now has their own building lot and church building. Please pray for them as they currently have the prospect of purchasing a building lot for their main church in Hermosa.

Rodel Domingo is pastor of Orion Independent Baptist Church, where he has served as pastor for more than ten years. The church is located in the town of Orion, in the Province of Bataan. In addition to their main church, they have eight mission outreaches in various villages throughout Bataan. Pastor Rodel professed his faith in Christ in 1986, at Bethany Baptist Church, Cubao (part of Metro Manila). He became very active in the church but, on December 5, 1990, he came to the realization that he had received the Gospel message with his mind, not with his heart. On December 5, 1990, he settled the matter and was gloriously saved! Pastor Rodel and his congregation recently built a Sunday School building, but they are praying for the future progress of their ministry. They are in need of land and buildings for their mission works, church vehicles to enable them to bring more people to hear the Gospel, and they hope one day to start a printing ministry so they can print Gospel tracts and discipleship lessons. Please pray for Pastor Rodel, his wife Juvy, and their son Daniel as they serve the Lord in Orion, in the Province of Bataan.
